Maverick Helicopters Maui · Kahului Airport, Hangar 108

Molokai's north shore by helicopter

A 55-minute helicopter flight from Kahului across the Pailolo Channel to Molokai's north shore, Halawa Valley and Kahiwa Falls. Pick it if the sea cliffs are the point: this is the tour that flies Molokai by name.

Molokai & Maui Helicopter Tour

About this experience

Maverick flies from Hangar 108 at Kahului Airport. The route crosses the Pailolo Channel to Molokai, where the listing names Kahiwa Falls, the isolated north shore and Halawa Valley, then returns over Maui's rainforest past Iao Valley. Watch the channel for whales and dolphins.

Molokai's north shore cliffs rise to about 3,000 feet, among the highest in the world, according to the National Park Service. You can't drive to see them from the bottom, and you can't see them on the 3 Islands plane flight either. This is the reason to book.

Read the rules before you pay. Adults need an original government photo ID (REAL ID or passport; no copies). Passengers over 275 lbs buy an extra seat, paid at the counter. Seats are assigned by weight and balance after check-in, so your party may not sit together. And cancellation is free only up to 3 days before, not 24 hours.
